Post-novitiate
Post-novitiate: towards a definitive yes
After the novitiate, the young Franciscan devotes more time to philosophical and theological formation, without neglecting the human and spiritual aspects. The path of formation leads to solemn profession, the final "yes," a lifelong commitment. The "yes" to God forever is not taken lightly. It means loving God and his brothers throughout his life. It is a wonderful project, but one that requires good preparation. The young Franciscan in formation strengthens his heart to love without limits; he strengthens his intelligence to become a solid apostle; he strengthens his spirit to breathe God into his life; he strengthens his joy so that it becomes contagious.
During this time, the young man is also accompanied by brother formators who help him discern "how to be a brother." Indeed, some brothers are called to be priests, while others are not. Each has a specific vocation.
Solemn profession of the brothers at Christ the Savior Parish in Kolwezi (September 8, 2023).
